When you are traveling on a nice sightseeing and relaxing vacation then you need those special best travel binoculars to help you enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the country side or the exotic locale.

The best travel binoculars are

Nikon 10×42 Monarch ATB Binoculars

Canon 10×30 IS Image stabilized binoculars

As far as compact travel binoculars are concerned here is the best on according to me and that is

Nikon 8×25 Travelite V Binoculars

Leica Ultravid 10×25 Compact binoculars – This is on the higher side with the price beginning at $750.00

If you are into hiking and trail thing get you hands on Steiner predators which are good for the price. They are 8×22 and feel very great.

Another option is to get 8×32 Nikon premier but the cost will be above $800.

Tip: For the best binoculars for travel 8 is the best magnification to have. More so if you are going to use it with you hands as opposed using it on a tripod.

A magnification of 10 can be heavy for hand held viewing so make sure that you try all these powers and objective lens diameter in a binocular shop. That is why I always hate the online buying. I read the comments and the critics but then use my own judgment.

Now if you are going on a safari or a where you will be doing a lot of night time viewing then you may need a special pair but for general daytime viewing you can safely go for pentax or Steiner binoculars which 8×22 or 7×50 specifications . These you will get for les than $100.

This is the best way to travel also as these are light and compact as opposed to buying the heavy stuff in the mid size or the full size binoculars range.

For some above the $100 range choice go for the Nikon prostaff binoculars or the Nikon premier series. The Nikon premier series definitely is very costly and will set you back by almost $400 or more. But they are worth the price with waterproof and fog proof features as well as magnesium body. If you are hunting enthusiast then you also need to read my other posts on Nikon best hunting binoculars

Additional tip : If you are planning your travel then these sorel shoes are good for winter travel.
