Bushnell has been offering quality optic devices for more than sixty years and the Spacemaster line is no exception.  The smallest of the group is the 15-45x 50mm which also comes with a fixed 25 power eye-piece.  It has a rubber-coated body and is extremely lightweight as scopes go at only 22 ounces.  With its available carry case and ability to give a relatively sharp 38 meter view at 1000 meters, this scope is a good addition to any backpacking trip.

Weatherproof

If the trip you have planned may get into harsher territory or more inclement weather conditions, the 15-45x 60mm may be a better option.  This scope has a weatherproof rubber armor coating making it a more rugged and durable model.  They are available in black or cammo and come standard with Rainguard HD coated lenses.  The offered field of view on this model is 22 meters at 1000 and the redesigned packs allow for both scope and tripod to be stored securely within easy reach.

Multi position

The latest addition to the Spacemaster optics line is the 20-60x 60mm multi-position spotting scope.  This scope offers a mobile eyepiece that allows the viewer to use it in a straight position or any angle up to vertical.  At 1000 meters, the scope also gives a clear 16 meter viewing range for sharper up-close images.  Like the rest of the Spacemaster lineup, this scope is able to mount onto any tripod that has standard threads available.

Though none of these scopes are meant to compete with state-of-the-art optics, their versatility and durability make them a more practical item than their more expensive counterparts.  Their low price makes the Bushnell scopes one of the best choices for mid-grade optics while featuring many high-level perks.  Their compact design allows for a quick and easy storage that does not take up your entire backpack.  In addition, like many have found, their light weight is a must by the end of the hike.

Bushnell’s Trophy Spotting Scope line contains two models:  the 15-45x 50mm and the 20-60x 65mm.  Both models are extremely lightweight, making them ideal for toting long distances on a hike or deep woods hunt.  Both scopes have a waterproof, rubberized outer shell that protects it from the elements as well as offers a non-slip grip for the user.  A compact, transportable tripod is included with each scope, and each scope comes with both a soft and a hard carrying case.  Porro prisms and multi-coated lenses are used in both of these scope models, offering consumers a clear and crisp image at an affordable price.

Some of the negatives were not unexpected, however, such as having a rather blurry image when the sun is setting and the object being spotted is 200+ yards away.  Users who found fault with the tripod did appreciate the fact that the scope has a universal tripod thread on it, allowing more stable tripods to be used in place of the one these scopes come with.

Golfers can use a rangefinder to calculate distances to objects even when other things such as trees located around the target area.  Scan mode will allow the golfer to move the rangefinder and continuously get updates on the distance while moving from one location to another.

The LCD screen is easy to read. All icons and numbers can be clearly seen even under all weather conditions.
Digital technology makes it possible for this device to deliver accurate measurements. When the device is pointed and activated, the laser beam bounces off the target. The distance is calculated by determining how much time it takes the beam to return to the source. That time is converted into distance using light speed as the constant for the calculation.

The user receives data almost instantaneously as the information is displayed on the screen in meters and yards in less than a second from the time the device is activated.

The Yardage Pro GPS offered by Bushnell is a fairly standard GPS system with very little in the way of extras. This compact device is weatherproof, lightweight and one of the easiest units of its kind for the user to figure out.

Distance can be noted at a glance on the screen which is completely legible even when outdoors.

This GPS device is small enough to fit in one hand and will read distance in meters and yards. The memory allows the user to store information for up to ten courses. The unit acts as a scorecard and provides information about the course.  The receiver accommodates twenty channels and it has a hot start function that takes just ten seconds.

Bushnell PinSeeker makes use of laser technology in order to calculate distances. All you need to do is peep through the PinSeeker and focus the LCD crosshairs at a specific object whether it is a tree, a bunker face or a flag. The unit then sends a light pulse. What the PinSeeker does is measure the quantity of time it takes for the light to bounce off on and return to the object. In basic math, this incorporates the speed of light which then results to a yardage. The PinSeeker then measures 1.7" x 5.1" x 3.7" or approximately the size of 2 ball sleeves. Its weight is 11.9 ounces allowing those who carry their bag to not notice the added weight. Basically, the range finder is precise up to 1500 yards though only using a reflector. The Bushnell 1600 is appealing thanks to the fact that it comes in two editions: the Pro 1600 Tournament and the Pro 1600 Slope. The ranges for the Slope Edition and Tournament Edition vary from five to one thousand six hundred yards, plus or minus a yard. This is the greatest accuracy you can get. Golf does involve sinking a tiny ball into a tiny ball after all.

Bushnell Rangefinder Elite 1500

The Bushnell Rangefinder Elite 1500 measures 1.7 x 5.1 x 3.7 inches and is 11.8 oz in weight. This rangefinder utilizes one nine volt radio battery which is advantageous in comparison to the batteries used in previous models. The model ranges as near as 5 yards.

Bushnell V2 Pinseeker

The Bushnell V2 Pinseeker proves the ideal laser rangefinder for tournament and leisure play. However, it is not a GPS device. As its name suggests, the design of this piece of equipment is such that a target pin becomes isolated from the surroundings, the distance gets measured and this value is displayed on the screen of the device. The aim is to choose the correct golf club in addition to the correct swing to sink a golf ball into its hole.

The V2 Pinseeker is able to measure distances from five to one thousand yards with great accuracy. If you wish for higher range limits, the Bushnell 1600 Editions extend to a maximum of 1,600 yards. Furthermore, those who consider themselves to be mathematically challenged, there are devices that convert yards to meters.

The Backtrack is a gps locater made by Bushnell. Backtrack is a superb hiking tool if you already know where you are going to jump start your hike. The Bushnell Backtrack is great for travel, outdoor journeys or even finding your vehicle at the mall or any huge parking lot.

Just mark your location before you set out and Bushnell Backtrack will guide you back to where you began. It stores and locates up to 3 locations. Its moderate size, digital display is quite simple to follow. It features a highly sensitive SIRF Star 3 GPS receiving device and self-regulating electronic compass. Its rough, weather-resistant construction stands up to the rigidities of outdoor use

The Bushnell Backtrack is fully weather proof. It can keep record of location and distance using both metric and standard measurement, and is operated by two AAA batteries (not included). It comes in an assortment of colors, pink, green, hunter camouflage and gray.

Again as with the 7x18mm pocket digital camera binoculars these are very compact and are a value for money.

A couple of drawbacks are that this does not have a digital memory card slot which means that you have to rely on the internal memory and that can carry only about 150 pictures based on the resolution.

If you need the camera to have more pictures then I will suggest buying more expensive cameras which at least does have a memory card slot.

As far as the usability is concerned you will need to make sure that the camera is not shaky.

Initially that will happen and it will take a while before you get into the habit of holding the camera steady.0020

Challenges

The handling of the computer and the digital camera interface is a tough game as you will need to load the drivers onto the PC and then have the PC recognize the camera. It is not as smooth as it can be hence a lot of people do not prefer this.

Challenges with these binoculars

The challenge is getting the pictures off into the PC. You need to install a driver to get the PC to recognize the Digital camera binocular. This brand does not have the SD memory card slot and hence it becomes tough to get a lot of photos and you will have to offload these into the PC every now and then. If you are using these while hunting then at one stage you will feel a bit handicapped that you cannot take more pictures with it.

The resolution of the pictures is 640×480 only. This is small resolution as compared to what you can get for a lot of pictures today.
