Challenges

If you are using these while hunting then at one stage you will feel a bit handicapped that you cannot take more pictures with it.

The resolution of the pictures is 640×480 only. This is small resolution as compared to what you can get for a lot of pictures today.

Affordability

If you are looking for the affordability aspect for the digital camera binoculars then the Digital camera binoculars from Bushnell are definitely the best and they have the two binoculars which are the 10×25 ImageView and the other one is the 7×18 pocket Imageview. Apart from the fact that the magnification of binoculars in this range is wonderful at 10x. These two are very much binocular under 100 dollars.

Picture Quality

The picture quality for these is not very good as they use the VGA resolution which means that it is less than 1MP. More so the VGA resolution will help only if you are emailing the pictures and not otherwise.

The problems with the low end Bushnell digital cameras is that the picture quality is not good as well as there is not an easy way to transfer the picture to the PC. It is a messy and cumbersome process. More on that later in the Imageview binocular reviews.

Memory card and memory

For most of the Budget Bushnell digital camera binoculars there is no slot for SD card. So that means that you will have to rely on the internal memory. In a lot of cases the internal memory will not exceed 8MB or 16MB.

If the money is not a constraint then go for the digital cameras with resolution which is above the 1Mega Pixel.

The best binoculars are definitely available at less than $100. There are some sacrifices that you will have to make when you buy the binoculars.

Let us talk about each one of these factors in detail before we discuss the best among the category.

Roof prism binoculars or the Porro prism binoculars. Most of the people will recommend that if you are trying to buy the binoculars under 100 then always buy the Porro ones. The reason being that Porro style binos are easier to manufacture and hence it ensures that the manufacturers are giving you a better quality as opposed to rood prism binos. The other factors to consider at this price range are the image contrast, brightness and quality of the image that it produces. Most of the binoculars in this range will produce some aberrations of the image and slight blurred image at the outer periphery.

As far as comparison between the brands is concerned there is the higher end models which are the Leica, Swaroski and the Zeiss.

The most popular and the best binoculars under $100 are the good brands which have years of experience behind them manufacturing the binos at all the price ranges and with various capabilities.

In my opinion Nikon comes out the tops when it comes to the producing the binoculars under $100.

The wide field of view is very much needed for all the birding enthusiasts. This alone at this price is a good enough feature.
